Your source for the most thorough, gentle, and professional Chiropractic Adjustment in Colorado Springs

Sometimes, nothing works to get relief from pain, tension and feeling funky, but a good chiropractic adjustment in Colorado Springs. Not massage, not spinal decompression, not medication, not stretching; nothing but a chiropractic adjustment. It is that powerful.

Sometimes, you just don’t feel right, and the only thing that can make your pain and discomfort go away is a chiropractic adjustment.

Many chiropractors call this “turning the lights on.” It’s a little cheesy, but if you have ever experienced this, then you kno

“Even though my wife is a chiropractor, I can, to my shame, get complacent in my care,” said Ian Kallenbach, Thrive Health Systems CEO. “This happened to me recently, and then I fell down our wooden stairs at our home holding one of our children. It’s embarrassing, but due to busy-ness, logistics, and the fact that I was working from home at that time, I didn’t get into the office to get adjusted for about four days. My back was out of whack, so I tried stretching and walking and rubbing and ointments. I tried everything. But, finally, finally, I drove my butt down to the office to get a chiropractic adjustment. Instantly, all that pain from that brutal fall went away, and I once again, became reinvigorated about what we do at Thrive.”

Chiropractic adjustments align joints that are misaligned, and it creates movement back into locked joints that have stopped functioning.

You may have a few questions about how we handle patients and our chiropractic adjustments, so here are a couple FAQs:

Will my insurance pay for chiropractic adjustments?

We perform what is called an insurance verification to determine whether your insurance covers your chiropractic adjustment in Colorado Springs, and if so, how much. We bill your insurance for you, and we will inform you of your benefits. For more information on how we handle insurance, check out our section on insurance for chiropractic adjustments in Colorado Springs

Do we take x-rays prior to a chiropractic adjustment?

The first time you come into the office, we will take an x-ray of your spine to determine the cause of your pain. The truth is, we have found some pretty scary stuff on an x-ray that is the cause of a patients pain. We feel this is the only honorable and professional way to treat patients. For example, if a patient has bone cancer of the spine, and we perform a chiropractic adjustment because the patient complained of pain, then we are not really helping the patient address the cause of their pain. Same thing goes for bone spurs, disc injuries, and other bone and joint disorders.

Where are we located in colorado springs?

We understand that convenience may be an issue for you. We will share that some of our patients drive 2.5 hours to see our Colorado Springs doctors, because they value their experience, but drive time is a concern for may patients.

We have a convenient location 3 minutes off I25 at Garden of the Gods and Centennial Blvd. There is a map on this page to the lower right hand side, at the bottom of the page.

can I come just once for a chiropractic adjustment in colorado springs?

Absolutely. You can be a one and done patient. That is fine by us. We will educate you on your condition, but ultimately, you are in control.

How do your chiropractors perform the chiropractic adjustment?

The chiropractic adjustment is both art and science. You’ll find every chiropractor is slightly different, even if they are trained in the same techniques.

Our doctors can perform the chiropractic adjustment using an instruments called an activator or an arthrostim (a suped-up activator). These are very gentle chiropractic adjustments.

We also have special tables in the office called “flexion/distraction” tables. We also have doctors trained in chiropractic biophysics (CBP), We also have doctors trained in craniosacral therapy and atlas orthogonal.
