Post-Graduate: Chiropractic Doctorate, Life University Marietta, GA

Originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Dr. Matthew Spaur attended West Virginia University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. After having worked as an Exercise Physiologist in several physical therapy, sports rehabilitation and fitness clinics, Dr. Spaur relocated to Georgia to pursue his true passion- chiropractic.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University with an emphasis on extremities in pursuit of being a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP).

Dr. Spaur’s passion for sports and biomechanics was evident at a young age as he played a variety of sports throughout his childhood including baseball, basketball, football and even raced motocross. After being treated by his local chiropractor for a football injury, Dr. Spaur quickly learned the significance of chiropractic in relation to sports performance and overall well-being. He firmly believes that routine adjustments not only prevent injury, but also improve performance and recovery outcomes.

In his spare time, Dr. Spaur’s interests include anything outdoors from hiking with his wife, Lindsay and dog, Sadie, to mountain biking, fishing, camping, and weight lifting.
